Duke Park AKA Old Green Bay Trail Playground Site Improvements

Project consists of tree preservation, removal of existing trees, shrubs and perennials, existing play equipment & footings, playground mulch surfacing & base, concrete barrier curb, concrete pavement and pad, site amenities, such as swing bench, backed benches and trash receptacles as indicated on the drawings. Installation of erosion control measures, site excavation and grading, construction and installation of new playground play equipment, poured in place rubber surface, concrete walk, concrete walk with thickened edge adjacent to playground, concrete barrier curb around playground; interactive water fountains such as water jets, and associated water system components such as water supply pipes control panel, water drain; precast concrete water runnel and hand pump; play trains and steel train track on concrete pavement; site amenities such as backed benches, backless benches, picnic tables, bike racks, and drinking fountain; utilities and drainage; existing flag pole lighting improvement; landscaping, such as trees, shrubs, perennials & ornamental grasses, and sod & seed restoration; Installation of social spaces site amenities such as benches and seating as an ALTERNATE #1 and Veterans` Memorial plaza site amenities such as precast concrete benches and concrete pavement as an ALTERNATE #2. The selected contractor is required to obtain all necessary permits prior to mobilization with the Village of Glencoe.
