| Description | Stanley Avenue Water Main Replacement The work for which bids are to be received consists of: Installation of approximately 6,050 LF of 6-inch and 8-inch water main including thirteen (13) fire hydrants, thirty-nine (39) gate valves and approximately 130 service reconnections. Work shall also include all supervision, equipment, traffic control, granular backfill, pavement restoration, flushing, disinfecting, testing, and all appurtenances necessary to complete the work shown in the Drawings and the Specifications. All work must be ready for satisfactory and continuous operation, in accordance with the Drawings and Specifications The purpose of this project is to replace the aging water main along Stanley Avenue between Governor Street and Kerth Avenue to provide safe drinking water to area residents and businesses. The project is part of the EWSU Refresh Program. All questions about the meaning or intent of the Contract Documents are to be directed in writing to Engineer. |
