Reconstruction of Taxiway J and K2

The improvements include reconstruction of Taxiway J from Taxiway K1 to Taxiway K2, reconstruction of Taxiway K2, and construction of new Taxiway J9 at the cargo apron. Other improvements include associated airfield lighting, grading, and drainage in the project area. Demolition: 1. Existing asphalt pavement, concrete pavement, concrete ditch paving, electrical infrastructure. Taxiway & Shoulder Construction: 1. FAA P-501 Portland Cement Concrete Pavement, P-304 Cement Treated Base Course, P-156 Cement Treated Subgrade, P-403 Asphalt Surface Course, P-209 Crushed Aggregate Base Course, and associated grading. The work will require establishing erosion control measures. Stormwater Improvements: 1. The work shall include the demolition, removal and disposal of existing reinforced concrete drainage flume, and existing drainage inlets; the installation of reinforced concrete pipes (RCP), reinforced concrete boxes, inlet structures, concrete manholes and junction boxes. Electrical Improvements: 1. The work shall include the installation of new taxiway edge lighting and signage in the project area.
