Description | The project consists of, but not limited to, Construction services to provide standby generator power for the West Facility #7 Gillick Way, Main Jail #5 Gillick Way, 911 Dispatch Center #3 Gillick Way & Juvenile Hall 41 County Center Drive. The existing facilities have limited backup power available, insufficient for continued operations during multi-day utility outages as well as failing generators. The County has been temporarily connecting rented generators to provide power during PG&E "Public Safety Power Shutoffs", (PSPS). The goal of this project is to eliminate the need for all rented generators at the addresses above, provide new standby generators and electrical upgrades.
