Description | Purpose and Description of Services 1. Contractor agrees to provide to the California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) all labor, tools, materials, parts, vehicles, travel, fees, licensing, permits, equipment, and incidentals necessary to provide preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair service to diesel engine, generator, and electrical switchgear. Refer to the Scope of Work (Exhibit A) within the Proposed Form of Agreement (Attachment 13). 2. These Public Works services shall be performed at Caltrans Transportation Management Center (TMC), located at 7183 Opportunity Road, San Diego, CA 92111, in San Diego County. Caltrans Contract Manager will contact Contractor via email when the Public Works required under this Agreement are required at the specific locations listed in this Agreement. Questions regarding this IFB must be submitted in writing by September 15, 2022. Bidders are encouraged to submit their written questions via e-mail to Robert.Carothers@dot.ca.gov. C. Written questions must include: the individual's name, firm name, complete address and must reference IFB No. 11A3540. The Payment Bond is not required at the time of bid submittal; however, it is required, as applicable, prior to the start date of the Service Request. |
