Completed plans call for the addition of a 27,914-square-foot, two-story above grade educational facility; and for the demolition of a educational facility. IDEA Public Schools invites qualified firms to submit Competitive Sealed Proposals for construction services for the New Building Addition to the Mesquite Hills Campus in El Paso, Texas. The Project consists of a new 2-story school building, of approximately 27,914 sq. ft. The project will include, but is not limited to, earthwork, site utilities, paving, landscaping and irrigation, concrete foundations, structural steel and heavy-gauge steel-stud framing, exterior and interior finishes, roofing and mechanical, plumbing, electrical and fire protection systems. Estimated construction budget is $6,700,000.00. The Project is located at 11881 Dyer Street, El Paso, Texas 79934. Please review the Instructions to Bidders on how to submit your proposal. IDEA Public Schools reserves the right to reject any and/or all bids, to waive technicalities, to re-advertise or to proceed in the best interest of the school. Construction is tentatively expected to begin in early-July 2022 with completion in late-June 2023. Project includes construction of a New 2-Story Building Addition, 9 th through 12 th Grade School Facility, of approximately 27,914 sq ft. The work includes but is not limited to earthwork, site utilities, concrete & asphalt pavements, landscaping & irrigation, poured-in-place concrete, structural steel, heavy-gauge metal stud wall framing, wall sheathing, brick masonry, rough carpentry, exterior insulation & finish systems, building insulation, roofing & sheet metal, doors & frames, windows, aluminum storefronts, glazing, gypsum drywall assemblies, ceramic wall & floor tile, resilient flooring & base, acoustical ceilings, science classroom furnishings & equipment, millwork, residential appliances, building accessories & equipment, HVAC and mechanicalsystems and equipment, plumbing systems and equipment, fire sprinkler system, electrical and alarm systems and equipment. For bonding purposes, the project's budget will be $6,700,000 plus or minus.
