Description | The City of Arlington requires services to complete the engineering design of approximately 900 LF of 30-inch sanitary sewer relocations and protection (including potential aerial crossings), localized stream stabilization and evaluating stream geomorphology for the stretch of Kee Branch northeast of the Mayfield Road and Woodside Drive intersection. The project scope includes a preliminary engineering report to evaluate potential solutions for protecting or relocating the existing sanitary sewer infrastructure, and subsequent final design for permanent solutions to avoid potential exposures due to erosion, including bank stabilization to prevent future erosion of the streambank. The proposer should be qualified and prepared to evaluate stream geomorphology, and the project may include scope to design a sanitary sewer lift station or aerial crossing as part of the relocation design. The project scope described above is intended to be general and a detailed scope will be created during contract negotiations with the selected firm. |
