Library Renovation Project - HVAC

The scope of work include HVAC Air Distribution to convert the existing boiler and window unit system to the combination of ducted and un-ducted “split system.” Air distribution can be accomplished with wall mounted or ceiling mounted units and condensers will be located on cement pad at building exterior. Since the split systems are a closed circulation system fresh air will be introduced into the facility with a heat recovery ventilator either in the basement maintenance area or above ceiling. With the replacement of the HVAC system, all steam piping, radiators, and equipment pertaining to the existing system is to be demolished and disposed of. HVAC Contractor is to be responsible for the removal of the roof top condenser unit.
