Description | **As of March 14, 2023 this project has been awarded to Etairos with bid amount of $357,074.64** Questions regarding bid specifications shall be directed to Tim Ruff, Director of Operations, Arlington Community Schools, tim.ruff@acsk-12.org, not later than 3:30 PM on Tuesday, December 27, 2022 For all Bid's exceeding $100,000, a Performance, Materials and Labor Bond will be required from the successful proposer. The notarized Performance, Materials and Labor bond must be from an insurance company licensed in the State of Tennessee for 100% of the bid award amount. The notarized Performance, Materials and Labor Bond must be provided to the address below within 5 days after the bid is awarded. If said bond is not timely received, Arlington Community Schools shall have the right to terminate the awarded bid and award the bid to another bidder. A Bid Bond representing 5% of the Total Lump Sum as indicated on your Bid Sheet must accompany your Bid Submission. If said Bid Bond does not accompany your bid submission, your bid may not be considered. All bids must meet or exceed the enclosed specifications. Proposer must include manufacturer's name, and model number offered. If proposer fails to provide this information, and an award is made, then the proposer shall supply the item(s) as specified. All items supplied by the successful proposer(s) shall be: (1) as per manufacturer's name, model number and description quoted, and (2) new and unused. Remanufactured and/or reconditioned items will be unacceptable. Items delivered not meeting these requirements shall be subject to return and replaced at no additional cost to Arlington Community Schools. No substitutions shall be made unless approved in writing by Tim Ruff prior to delivery. Literature to be included with bid for items quoted. Bid will be considered incomplete for failing to include required product literature along with bid and may be rejected. Arlington Community Schools reserves the sole right to make final approval regarding all exceptions and substitutions. The General Terms and Conditions and Specifications in no way favor one (1) vendor over another. Proposers shall abide by and comply with the true intent of the General Terms and Conditions, and Specifications and not take advantage of any unintentional error or omission of Arlington Community Schools. Arlington Community Schools reserves the right to make final determination as to the award of this bid. Warranties: The successful proposer must provide a guarantee of warranty of One (1) year on all parts, Five (5) years on Compressor and Fifteen (15) on heat exchangers. Warranty periods shall begin from the date of acceptance by Arlington Community Schools. All parts covered under warranty must be delivered within two business days from the date requested to Arlington Community Schools. Common warranty parts must be in stock locally and readily available. Successful proposer will be required to furnish all labor, materials, tools, equipment for a complete delivery. All work shall be performed in a neat and workmanlike manner. Any and all cleanup of debris is the responsibility of the successful proposer. Successful proposer will be responsible for obtaining and furnishing any/all permits with local and/or state code enforcement agencies to complete to project as described in this bid. Arlington Community Schools reserves the right to reject any or all proposals, waive defects or informalities in and to make awards deemed to be in its best interest. |
