Description | As of January 10, 2023, this project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for award has not yet been established. Sealed, written formal bid proposals for the above bid will be received by the Board of Education of the North Panola School District. The Board of Education reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive informalities, also to withhold the acceptance of any bid if approved, for forty-five calendar days from the date bids are opened. Printed copies are not available through the Architect. Plan holders will be responsible for their own reproduction cost. The successful bidder will be allowed one hundred and eighty (180) calendar days from the date of issuance of Notice to Proceed to complete the project. Liquidated damages will be assessed at $500.00 per day for each calendar day the work is not substantially complete. All bids must be accompanied by bid security equal to five percent (5%) of the sum of the base bid and all alternates, and must be in the form of a certified check, cashier's check or a Bid Bond written by a company licensed to do business in Mississippi.
