Taxiway A Realignment Phase 3

AGG Report Ne. LE20-007 RS&H, INC. PROJECT NO. 212.003.011 The project includes the second portion of the realignment of Taxiway A to current FAA runway/taxiway separation requirements at Eastwood Airport, College Station TX. In general, the scope of work consists of the demolition of a portion of the existing Taxilane L, Taxiway C north of Runway 11-29, Taxiway D, and Taxiway B. The demolition of a portion of Taxiway C and D are only included if Additive Alternate No. 2 is awarded. The scope also includes new asphalt pavement, modifications to airfield electrical, drainage, and restoration of the infields after the existing pavements are removed. If Additive Alternate No. 1 is awarded, the scope of work includes the full-depth reconstruction of a portion of the vehicle service road. Construction is to be performed in accordance with FAA specifications. Construction will occur on an active, commercial air carrier airport. The Contractor will be required to comply with safety and security requirements at Easterwood Airport. Contractor personnel will be subject to security background checks by the Transportation Safety Administration. DBE Goal is 12%
