East Montgomery - Safer Schools Training Academy

Project consist of a 113,637 SF renovation to reestablish a school setting with functional MEP systems. A portion of the space will require full renovation for the Samarcand Safer Schools Training Program. These spaces include administrative offices, classrooms, hallways, bathrooms, and cafeteria. The remaining spaces require planning to create programable spaces for future flexibility. Building renovations include repair or replacement of EFIS systems, windows, roofing systems, foundation, slabs, boiler systems, chilled water systems, ADA equipment, fire alarm systems, architectural finishes, HAZMAT abatement, and minor layout changes. Site renovations include repair or replacement of pavement, sidewalks (ADA), fences, utility systems, new fencing with gates, removal of temporary trailers and wooden structures. Planning services include a charette to organize customer current and future program goals or requirements into a masterplan of the facility with cost expectations.
