Repair Vet Treatment Facility, Brooke Army Medical Center, Fort Sam Houston, TX

Task Order: Repair Vet Treatment Facility, Brooke Army Medical Center, Fort Sam Houston, TX: Project is to repair and renew the approximate 6,492 sf Building 1158, Veterinary Clinic at Brooke Army Medical Center, Ft. Sam Houston, TX, and construct a small addition of approximately 600-800sf, to meet the intent of the Program for Design (PFD). Actual square footage will be dependent on the contractor’s test-fit and/or design effort. Contractor shall repair/construct the existing building, exterior/grounds and adjacent parking lot/areas (as an option), in order to provide a modern, functional Veterinary Clinic that promotes efficient delivery of veterinary care. The repair and renewal will require the Contractor to repair/replace all failed and failing systems in Building 1158. The renewal will be in accordance with all Federal, State, and Installation codes and laws, to include preparation of a design as discussed below. The Repair/Addition will also meet Antiterrorism and Force Protection requirements specified by the DoD AT/FP standards and/or installation. Work shall be accomplished in accordance with the provided PFD, and Project Room Content Report (PRCR). No transition space will be required.
