| Description | The contractor shall provide all materials, supervision, labor, and equipment to repair 33 Aircraft Sunshades manufactured by BigTop Shelters (33 each 70’ x 70’ x 30.5’ shelters) as follows on the F-15 and F-16 parking area: Clean, prepare, and apply a zinc-rich coating to all metal sections of the sunshade structure exhibiting corrosion IAW with the Zinc-rich coating manufacturer’s instructions. Properly tension 4 each ¼” x 108’ roof cables with 4 each cable clamps per shelter. Properly tension 8 each ¼” x 44’ roof cables with 4 each cable clamps per shelter. Properly tension 2 each ¼” x 112’ cover cables per shelter. Tension all nuts/bolts at truss connections, x-braces, etc. for each shelter. Adjust all threaded rod tensioning and tension straps for each shelter. Repair minor cuts and pin-holes in the shelter fabric for the two shelters without the replacement covers. Torque anchor bolts for each shelter. Materials will meet all specifications and tolerances for BigTop Shelter frames and canopies. |
