Traffic Signal Poles

Scope: This bid includes two (2) span wire traffic signal poles, and four (4) traffic signal poles with mast arms that are to be manufactured and delivered to Onondaga County. The purchase of these materials is being paid for in part with federal highway funds, and federal requirements are included as part of this bid. The bidder is required to comply with all applicable Federal, State and Local Rules and Regulations, including Buy America Provisions, NYSDOT Standard Specifications, Section 106-11. Specifications: The traffic signal poles provided shall comply with Section 724-03 - Traffic Signal Poles and Span Wire Poles, of the September 1, 2020 NYSDOT Standard Specifications (including all addenda), and the NYSDOT Standard Sheets. Prior to pole manufacture, the contractor shall submit shop drawings and wait for written approval before proceeding with fabrication. A NYSDOT Approved Traffic Signal Pole Manufacturer must be used, and must be on NYSDOT’s Approved List.
