Ornamental Fencing - Maintenance and Repairs

To provide qualified ornamental fencing repairs, installation, maintenance, and replacement on an as-needed basis at the locations specified in the Invitation for Bid (IFB) for a period of 36 months or total payments not to exceed the total bid amount offered, whichever comes first. The main function of this solicitation is to secure a contractor to make repairs to existing fence in a timely manner. MDOT/SHA will provide the fencing materials (fence panels, hardware, etc), the contractor shall provide the concrete mix, and other needed items to conduct the repair. This proposal will establish hourly rates, mobilization fees, and incidental materials for service. Quantities listed are estimated and are only given for the purpose of bid evaluation. They do not indicate the actual amount which will be spent, since such expenditures will depend upon requirements which develop during the contract period. The Contractor will be expected to perform the required services from verbal request instructions/description and photos of damaged fence.
