THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL, QUOTATION OR BID. NO SOLICITATION IS CURRENTLY AVAILABLE. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Omaha District is conducting market research to identify sources (Small Businesses only) that have the knowledge, skills and capability to perform the work concerning the potential project described below. The responses to this sources sought announcement will be used by the Government to make appropriate acquisition decisions for this project. Project Location and Description: USDA, Agricultural Research Service (USDA-ARS) National Center for Resilient and Regenerative Precision Agriculture (NRRCPA) at Innovation Park, University of Nebraska-Lincoln A-E services are required for Planning Charrette, Program of Requirements (POR) development, 100% design documents, and support during construction acquisition for Construct the USDA, Agricultural Research Service (USDA-ARS) National Center for Resilient and Regenerative Precision Agriculture (NRRCPA) at Innovation Park, University of Nebraska-Lincoln (UNL). The building is envisioned to be a three-level structure with two aboveground floors and a basement. The basement will include storage space, facility services, and potential plant growth space. Most of the dry and wet laboratory space will have an open lab concept to provide flexibility in research goals with some dedicated lab space to be closed (e.g. Biological Safety Level 2, Microscopy, Tissue Culture, etc.) that would have direct access to the main laboratory space. The projected requirement for office/cubicle space is 21,647 square feet (sq ft) and total laboratory space is 55,750 square feet. The Center will require 14,800 sq ft of facility service space. In addition, 12,000 sq ft for greenhouses and 2,450 sq ft for headhouse are needed to support the research. The total space requirement is 106,647 sq ft. Special laboratory requirements include, but are not limited to, plant transgenics and odor mitigation. Detailed information for the projected space needs, will developed by following the relevant USDA-ARS facility guidelines. Project Period of Performance: 450 Calendar Days from PCR to 100% design completion with an additional120 calendar days for support during construction.
