Description

A. Contractor will replace the front gate to include all motors, hardware, and other accessories. B. Contractor will install a gate that is sturdy and capable of continuously operating in heavy winds and does not shift or swing open during heavy wind. Contractor will ensure that when gate is shut there are no security gaps to where a person could pass through the gate. C. Contractor will not use V-Mag motors on the new gate. The motor/operator shall be a commonly serviceable operator and one that does not require one specific company to service if there are future problems with the gate/operators. D. Contractor will ensure that the gate ties in with our code entry keypad to allow access to the unit and also provide a remote operation in the communications room. Contractor will ensure the system has a battery back-up function and will function even when there is no power at the unit. The gate will also have a manual operation function so in the event of a failure personnel can manually open/close the gate if needed. E. Contractor will dispose of all materials related to the old gate and operators.
