General Requirements - Bid Deposit Required - Contractors License Required - Insurance Required - License Required A bid security in the sum of no less than five percent (5%) of the Bid Total amount is required. Please make bid bond for FIVE PERCENT. Do not enter a dollar amount. If awarded, a performance bond in the amount of 100% of the contract price as well as a payment bond in the amount of 100% of the contract price will be required. The County, at its sole discretion, reserves the right to accept or reject any and all bids, in whole or in part, that are deemed to be in the best interest of the County Abatement 3654 Reference attached asbestos inspection report for details. a. Type approximately 1200 SF double wide mobile home structure b. Location 537 Woodland Drive, Murrells Inlet, SC 29576 c. Built in 1989 d. General Conditions i. Provide permits, including but not limited to: DHEC, Local, etc. ii. Manifest records to be made available upon request. iii. Provide credit for items contractor intends to salvage from site. e. Abatement i. Remove and dispose of approximately 400 SF of the asbestos containing roof membrane. 1. Shall be done per DHEC and EPA guidelines by certified and licensed personnel. f. Demolition i. Demobilize all utilities-water/sewage, and electric prior to demolition. 1. Seal off all wells/septic tanks and related plumbing per DHEC regulations. ii. Demolish the existing approximately 1200 SF double wide mobile home structure, including but not limited to: foundation, footers, tie downs, exterior landings and attached porches, etc. 1. Remove all trash and construction debris to an approved land fill. 2. Burning is NOT permitted. 3. Shall be done per DHEC, OSHA, and Pollution Control Regulations. |
