Notice is hereby given that Public Utility District No. 1 of Pend Oreille County (the District), is seeking bids from qualified contractors to modernize the Districts Newport Administration Building elevator located in Newport, WA as well as perform necessary repairs and maintenance, as is detailed in Invitation to Bid The District reserves the right to cancel this ITB at any time, or issue amendments or corrections. Public Utility District No. 1 of Pend Oreille County (the District), is seeking bids from a contractor to modernize/repair/upgrade the District's Newport Administration Building elevator. The purpose of the bid is to obtain a contractor to modernize the District's Newport Administration Building elevator located in Newport, WA as well as perform necessary repairs and maintenance. The work will be performed under the direction of the District's Warehouseman or other designated District personnel. The work will be done under a written contract in a form acceptable to District. The District shall be the exclusive judge of all bids and reserves the right to accept or reject any bid proposal based upon its own criteria and sole judgment. The District is seeking bids for a contractor to complete the following to modernize the existing elevator in the District's Newport Administration Building. See full details in the attached Invitation to Bid under the "documents" tab. Bid Alternates Power Unit - Add alternate to install a new power unit during the elevator modernization. Cab Interior - Add alternate for to install a new cab interior with vertical wall panels and LED downlight ceiling, handrails and revels. Bid to include a warranty on all work. Bid to include all parts, labor, materials, transportation and associated costs to complete the work. It is the intention of the District to have the project start as soon as possible and be completed no later than October 31, 2022. Each bid must be accompanied by the following: The completed bid proposal form including a preliminary timeline, scope, and schedule to complete the work. A bid guarantee in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the bid amount, made payable to PUD No. 1 of Pend Oreille County. Performance and payment bonds will be required with the contract. The State of Washington prevailing wage rates are applicable for this contract located in Pend Oreille County. Bidders are responsible to verify and use the most recent prevailing wage rates. The applicable prevailing wage rates may be found on the Department of Labor and Industries website. All bids will be evaluated based on cost and lead-times.
