Permitting, Design, and Construction Administration Services for the Southwest Water Treatment Plant Well #3 and Pipeline Project

Engineering firms with experience and expertise in hydrogeology, transmission mains, and treatment design to submit Statements of Qualifications (SOQ) to provide design, permitting, and construction administration services for the Southwest Water Treatment Plant (WTP) Well #3 and pipeline project. The project will add a well to increase the wellfield capacity of TWA’s Southwest WTP to address the continued growth of the Western Service Area. The new well will be located within an existing easement at KUA’s Cane Island Power Plant. The project will include at a minimum: field investigations for well siting, hydrogeologic evaluations, well and wellsite design, installation of approximately 5,500 linear feet (LF) of raw water main, an additional 2.0 MG ground storage tank, any required survey work and geotechnical investigations, permitting, associated electrical and instrumentation and controls, and all other work required for a fully functional facility. The selected consultant may be requested to provide services for future Southwest WTP evaluations and improvements.
