Ringgold Rail Trail Pedestrian Bridge

The principal features of work to be performed under this Contract consist of site grading, demolition of existing damaged bridge span, construction of new bridge span, erosion and sediment control, site stabilization, and clearing and grubbing. Each Bid must be accompanied by a BID BOND payable to the Owner for five (5) percent of the total amount of his bid. A CERTIFIED CHECK in the amount of not less than five (5) percent of the bid amount may be submitted in lieu of a BID BOND. A PERFORMANCE BOND and PAYMENT BOND, each in the amount of one hundred (100) percent of the Contract Price, with a corporate surety approved by the OWNER, will be required for the faithful performance of the contract. Bidders must be properly licensed as a Contractor in the State of Virginia. Bidder's VA Contractor's license numbers must be on the outside of the bid package or the bid will be rejected.
