Roof Replacement for Oakview Elementary School

• Roof Size is approximately 40,000 sq. ft. • Tear-off existing membrane down to the structural deck and installation of a temporary watertight roofing membrane. Deck type varies with each roof area. • Insulation system for Base Bid shall be cellular Lightweight Insulating Concrete (LWIC). • The replacement membrane assembly consists of the application of PVC single-ply membrane fully adhered to the insulation. Scope of Work includes installation of new perimeter wood nailers and edge metal. • Work includes all sheet metal fabrications shown on the contract documents and as specified. • Roofing membrane installation shall be requiring on-going inspections by the membrane manufacturer during the installation process and will be eligible to receive a 20 year NDL material and labor warranty, full-system including the LWIC and membrane. • Project start date is undetermined at this time based on availability of materials. For bidding purposes, contract execution is estimated to be August 1 st, 2022. • Completion date is 180 calendar days after receiving a notice to proceed from the Owner. • The resulting contract will be to furnish all labor, supervision, materials and equipment necessary to perform the work as shown on the plans and described in the project specifications.
