| Description | To provide labor and equipment to preform core drilling/sawing needs for sanitary sewers and storm drain related projects on an as-needed basis. Common tasks include coring into structures of various sizes including pipes, circular structures (manholes and catch basins), box culverts and tunnel structures. These structures can be located within excavations, on the street level or underground accessible mainly by crane. Common core sizes are 6”, 8”, 12”, 14”, 16” ,22”, 24”, 28”, 30”, 32”, 36”,40” and 48. Wall sawing will be defined as when a contractor needs to cut a structure/pipe that is not cored (i.e. setting up a rail system). |
