390 N. Main Street Transformation Project

Transformation of 390 N. Main Street, an Empty, Unused, City-owned Lot Within Downtown Watervliet, Berrien County, Michigan Into a Social Space for Public Use. The Project Includes Site Grading, Pavement Removal, Installation of Stamped Concrete Pavement, Concrete Pavement, Concrete Curb, Restoration, Signage, and Pavement Markings. In Addition, the Project Includes the Furnishing and Installation of a Pavilion, Decorative Fountain, Lighting, Irrigation, Site Plantings, and Site Electrical. Lastly, the Project Includes the Installation of Benches, Tables, and Chairs, Purchased by the City. The Owner Reserves the Right to Reject Any or All Bids and to Waive Any Irregularities in Bidding. The Use of Local Contractors and Labor is Encouraged. A certified check or bank draft drawn on a solvent bank in the State of Michigan payable without condition to the OWNER or a satisfactory bid bond executed by the bidder and a surety company, in an amount equal to 5 percent of the bid shall be submitted with each bid. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a satisfactory Performance Bond and a Labor and Material Bond in the amount of 100 percent of the Contract price.
