Water System Improvements

Furnish and install; two low profile water intake boxes, approximately 600 lineal feet of 2-inch SDR7 HDPE water piping, and approximately 500 lineal feet of 2" SCH80 PVC process water piping, 12 - 2" SCH80 PVC butterfly valves, 6 - 2" SCH80 PVC tees and other minor pipe sizes, lengths, and fittings, 5 stainless steel "170" size filter housings and associated plumbing, one turbidity sensor, one auto backwashing filter screen, one Viaqua 50 UV disinfection system, one sodium hypochlorite disinfection system, two water testing stations, one packaged "high-service" pumping system, two 2" water meters, one "CM442" controller, power and control panels, four valve boxes, one 14kW generator set, one 325 gallon propane tank, intake and exhaust air circulation system, miscellaneous required electrical work, and 3 - 5,000-gallon NSF61 certified polyethylene potable water storage tanks. Furnish and construct a 24'x40' prefabricated steel building on a 6" thick wire reinforced slab. Installation of the new waterlines shall include all associated fittings, connections and appurtenances as required for a complete installation. Complete installation of the new facilities shall include, but not be limited to, all connections and tie-ins to existing waterlines, sensors, meters, tanks, filters, disinfection equipment, and in general, any miscellaneous equipment required to complete a functioning surface water treatment plant. Complete testing and disinfection of new waterlines and facilities shall be performed all as identified within the project Specifications and as shown on the project Drawings.
