| Description | The Community Center is a 43,250 sq. ft. multi-purpose facility adjacent to Village Hall and the Village Green Park. Currently, at approximately $93,000 per year, the Community Center represents 45% of the Village’s annual energy costs. The Community Center provides facilities for a wide-range of uses, including spaces such as a gym, indoor basketball courts, locker rooms, meeting rooms, event spaces, administrative offices, and a computer lab. The Village estimates approximately 656 fixtures will need to be retrofitted with LED lights to complete the project. Once completed, the Village is expecting to reduce its monthly energy usage by approximately 64,000 watts, from 87,000 watts to 23,000 watts. |
