Description | The City of Fairview is requesting Statements of Qualifications from experienced professional park system planning consultants interested in assisting in the development of comprehensive master plan for the city's public parks. The master plan, once completed and implemented, will be the city's main resource and guide for future uses, improvements, and programs within the city's parks. The park system master plan should identify and define opportunities for green spaces, open spaces, trails & trail systems, park connectivity, recreational activities, facility improvements, and enterprise opportunities. Additionally, the successful vendor services provided will include: An inventory of all city park properties. An evaluation of all ongoing park programs. A synopsis of conservation sites and preserves. A synopsis of park property deed restrictions. Park programming and activities suggestions. Property maintenance and improvement suggestions. Suggestions for uses of existing park facilities. Suggestions for additional future park facilities. The statement of interest and qualifications must include the scope of services the firm can provide. References are encouraged, but not required, and may be requested as part of the evaluation process.
