Rigging, Under Bridge Crane and Traffic Control Services for Cameron, Centre, Clinton, Juniata, McKean, Mifflin and Potter County Bridge Inspections

PCS has been contracted by the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation to perform twelve (12) bridge inspections in Cameron (3), Centre (1), Clinton (4), Juniata (1), McKean (2), Mifflin (1) and Potter (2) Counties. To accomplish this work, PCS is requesting proposals for rigging, under bridge crane, bucket truck and traffic control services from qualified contractors. Bids are invited upon the following: The work to be performed includes providing rigging, under bridge crane, bucket truck and traffic control services. At a minimum, bridges require two rigging pick lines and when necessary a third pick line shall be installed. All bridges shall have a minimum of one safety line. At a minimum a UB60 crane is required with a crane operator and driver. The bucket truck at a minimum shall have a reach of 35 feet, also provide a driver. rol Guidelines" and the contract special provisions. The successful Contractor will provide a traffic control crew with a minimum staff of four (4) full time persons. The successful bidder shall be able to setup detour patterns. No additional charges for sign fabrication will be permitted. Approximately sixteen (16) days of traffic control is anticipated. The agreed upon daily rate is to include the entire workday but not too exceed eight hours.
