Description | Services will include, but not be limited to, attendance at Authority meetings; preparation of project plans and specifications; project oversight; preparation of required permit applications for projects, including NJDEP permits, local permits, etc.; preparation of capital improvement reports; review of system performance and provision of recommendations for improvements, as needed; providing routine engineering advice, oversight and services and being available as needed for consultation with the Authority and staff. The Authority is responsible for operating and maintaining the regional sanitary sewer system serving all or parts of Dunellen, Fanwood, Green Brook, North Plainfield, Plainfield, Scotch Plains, South Plainfield and Watchung. PROPOSALS MUST INCLUDE: 1. Demonstrated experience and knowledge of large, regional sanitary interceptor systems like that operated by PARSA and the issues that impact the operation of same 2. Demonstrated experience preparing project plans and specifications for sanitary sewer projects. 3. Demonstrated experience providing oversight of sanitary sewer projects. 4. Demonstrated understanding of the regulatory framework within which PARSA operates. 5. Names, education and professional experience of each engineer and non- administrative staff person that would provide services to the Authority and identification of who would provide each service; and 6. Rate proposal. 7. Please Note that PARSA pays its consulting engineer a retainer of $900/month to attend meetings, prepare a monthly engineers report for the Board meeting and to discuss meeting related items with the executive director 8. 3 Copies of the proposal (no more please) |
