RFP D/B - Myrtle Avenue Operations Campus (MAOC) Generator Replacement Design-Build

The purpose of this request for proposal is to solicit competitive proposals from Design-Build Firms to provide all applicable design and construction services necessary to complete the Myrtle Avenue Operations Campus (MAOC) Generator Replacement Design-Build project. Contract Term. The Contract shall commence upon the Authority's issuance of a Notice to Proceed (NTP) and Substantial Completion shall be achieved within four hundred-twenty-five (425) calendar days. An additional thirty (30) calendar days after Substantial Completion is projected to achieve for Final Completion. in this solicitation package, a Bid Security in the amount of five percent (5%) of the total Bid price is required. The Contract, if awarded, shall require a Performance Bond and Payment Bond equal to 100% of the contract price from the awarded Contractor. Specific bonding and insurance requirements are set forth in the Solicitation package. Insurance shall be written by an insurer who holds a current Certificate of Authority pursuant to Chapter 624, Florida Statutes, and who has a most recently published rating by A.M. Best & Company of "A" or better. Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE). All Proposers are hereby notified that the DBE requirements of 49 CFR Part 26 apply to this Solicitation. The DBE participation goal for the Contract is 12.5% race conscious. It is the policy of the Authority to practice nondiscrimination based on race, color, sex, or national origin in the award or performance of this Contract.
