Phase 2A Sidewalk Improvements / Benjamin Franklin Drive Lighting Site Improvement

Work in this Section includes all labor, material, equipment, testing, tax, overhead, and profit necessary to install, construct, and place into service the items described in this Section to provide a complete and functional system ready for use by the City. The Project consists of the construction of new 8-ft concrete sidewalk, driveway aprons, asphalt street reconstruction at three side streets to accommodate the new sidewalk ramps, and new curbing / curb and gutter at the reconstructed side streets and new driveway aprons. The Project also includes removal of landscaping and the Relocation of signs along the street. The project corridor is approximately 5540-ft, located along the northeast side of Ben Franklin Dr. generally from Grant Dr. to northeast of Roosevelt Dr. The Project also includes the removal of existing street lights including poles, foundations, and accessories and the relocation of existing Sabal palm trees along the project corridor that will also include (under a separate construction project) installation of new street lights.
