It is the downloader s responsibility to determine that a complete set of documents, as defined in the Agreement are received. Printed copies of the Contract Documents may be purchased at the website for the cost of printing. The cost for printed Contract Documents is not refunded. This website will be updated periodically with Addenda, planholders lists, bid tabulations, additional reports or other information relevant to bidding the Project. The project is located in the City of Midlothian, Texas. Bidders must submit a cashier's check, certified check, or acceptable bidder's bond with their Bid as a guarantee that the Bidder will enter into a contract for the Project with the Owner as outlined in the specifications and Instructions to Bidders. The security must be payable to Owner in the amount of 5 percent of the Bid submitted. Contractor must execute the Contract, bonds and certificates of insurance on the forms provided in the Contract Documents. Performance, Payment, and Maintenance Bonds are required. The Owner reserves the right to adopt the most advantageous interpretation of the Bids submitted in the case of ambiguity or lack of clearness in stating bid prices, to reject any or all Bids, and/or waive formalities. Bids may not be withdrawn within 90 days from date on which bids are opened.
