CHARLES STREET HOUMA, LOUISIANA 70360 4726 Government Street All Bid packages shall be accompanied with the following: 1. Bid Security in an amount equal to n t less than FIVE PERCENT (5%) of the Bid Amount. BidSecurity shall be a Certified Check, Cashier's Check or Bid Bond (Money Orders or Letters of Creditwill not be accepted) made payable to the TERREBONNE PARISH SCHOOL DISTRICT. Bid Bondshall be accompanied with Power of Attorney. 2. Completed Louisiana Uniform Public Works Bid Form as described in LA R.S. 38:2212(B)(2). 3. If someone other than a corporate officer signs for the Bidder/Contractor, a copy of a corporateresolution or other signature authorization shall be required for submission of bid. Failure toinclude a copy of the appropriate signature authorization, if required, may result in the rejection of the bid unless bidder has complied with LA R.S. 38:2212(B)(5). Failure to include any item specified above, or failure to complete the Louisiana Uniform Public Works BidForm in its entirety and properly execute this form will result in the Bid / Bids being declared irregular andcause for rejection as being non-responsive. All other information contained in the Instructions to Bidders, Articles 1-17 shall be strictly adhered to . Bids shall be accepted only from Contractors who are licensed under La. R.S. 37:2150-2164 for theclassification of BUILDING CONSTRUCTION. No bid may be withdrawn after the closing time for receipt of bids for at least FOURTY-FIVE (45) calendar days, except under the provision of La. R.S. 38:2214. The Lowest qualified bid will be the one determined to offer the best advantage to the Terrebonne ParishSchool District. The TERREBONNE PARISH SCHOOL DISTRICT, to the extent permitted by State andFederal Laws and Regulations, reserves the right to reject any / or all Bids / Proposals for just cause. Proposal prices shall specifically EXCLUDE any and all taxes whatsoever. Act 1029 of 1991 exempts localgovernments from state and local tax effective September 1, 1991.
