Description

The Contractor shall furnish all necessary services, personnel, equipment and materials to inspect all boilers and pressure vessels located within the Bureau of Prisons’ 122 Institutions. Typical boilers found within Bureau of Prisons facilities include: High and low pressure steam boilers; with varying fuel sources, BTU ranges, and operating pressures. Low pressure/low temperature hot water boilers, with varying fuel sources, BTU ranges, and operating temperatures. Domestic water heaters with storage tanks exceeding 120 and/or fuel input greater than 200,000BtuH Ancillary equipment related to boiler operation, including; Other presser vessels, deaerators, expansion tanks, and condensate tanks
