Description

As of November 21, 2022, this project has not been awarded. *The previous solicitation is listed below for reference The City is seeking professional engineering landscape architectural services for the design, permitting & preparation of construction documents for a developed park known as Blohm Park. The City of Gaithersburg is seeking professional engineering and landscape architectural services for the design, permitting and preparation of construction documents for a developed park known as Blohm Park. This project will be referenced as the Blohm Park Trail Enhancement Project, which will include sections of trails that will be natural as well as hard surfaced as indicated in Exhibit A. The project is be engineered and constructed in three phases: Phase 1: Installation of a mulch trail that will meander from Watkins Mill Road towards the Pepco Right of Way, but on City property. As part of the trail enhancement, the City seeks to install a trailhead closest to Watkins Mill Road (as indicated in Exhibit A). In addition, the Offeror shall evaluate an existing pedestrian bridge for hands-on inspections for structural safety as well as the stream stability in the area. The Offeror shall make recommendations for any necessary improvements Offeror Questions Due in Writing: May 9, 2022 by 3:00 PM The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
