Fencing for New Wild West Jordan Playground RB

The work performed under this section shall consist of: The base bid includes furnishing all labor, materials, and equipment necessary for the installation of four-foot tall black polymer coated chain link fencing. As part of this bid the contractor will include core drilling the posts into a 4-inch-thick sidewalk, and the 12-inch wide mow strip. There will be six inches from the edge of sidewalk to the center of the fence posts. Posts will be grouted into sidewalk to prevent voids from edge of post and core hole. Bid Alternate #1 includes furnishing all labor, materials, and equipment necessary for the installation of four-foot-tall black ornamental iron fence in lieu of the black polymer coated chain link fencing. Included in the price will be all necessary core drilling or mechanical fasteners required to attach the fence to the sidewalk as described in the previous bullet point.
