Description | **Update 20 June 2023** - This solicitation is being amended for the following reasons: 1. Extend quote due date to 12:00PM EST on 25 July 2023. 2. Schedule site visit for 09:00AM EST on 11 July 2023, incorporating FAR clause 52.237-1 Site Visit. In order to attend the site visit, contractor must submit background check form to Capt Ryan Belfield at ryan.belfield@us.af.mil and Ms. Natalie Clower at natalie.clower.1@us.af.mil. Contractors will meet at B119 Civil Engineering Squadron. 3. Answer the following RFIs that have been received: Q1:Can you please provide as-built LPS drawings for the facilities listed, including the antenna towers A1: The Government has digital as-builts for buildings 119, 301, 302, 305, 306, 307, and 308. These as-builts have been uploaded as attachments to this solicitation. The Government has also scheduled a site visit for 09:00AM EST on 11 July 2023 for contractors to field verify existing lightning protection systems. Q2: What is the general condition of the site LPS A2: The Governments assessment of the site LPS is "Fair". The last inspection was completed in 2018. Q3: Can you please provide elevation drawings for the required facilities that show roof pitch A3: See answer to Q1 above. Q4: Are there hard tie-off points on the sloped/rounded roofs for personnel safety A4: No tie off points on any sloped roofs. Most of the LPS systems can be reached with a manlift. One side of each two aircraft hangars is not reachable by lift. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. W50S8V-23-Q-0010 - This solicitation is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2023-03; dated 26 May 2023. This requirement is designated with a Small Business set-aside of Total Small Business and associated with NAICS code: 541990 and a small business size standard of $19.5M. The 167th Airlift Wing, Martinsburg, WV is requesting a quote for Lightning Protection System Inspection. This requirement is being requested lowest priced technically acceptable (LPTA). To be considered technically acceptable you must provide a quote that meets all specifications listed below. Please provide a quote in accordance with your terms & conditions.
