| Description | This bid is for an annual contract for Engineered Wood Fiber for Playground Surfacing at the BREC Parks. Bids, amendments to bids, or requests for withdrawal of bids, received after the time specified for bid opening shall not be considered for any cause whatsoever, except as required by law. Bids shall be firm for a period of sixty (60) days from the date of the opening of bids and no bid shall be withdrawn for any reason during this period of time except as allowed per R.S.38:2214.C. Bid form blanks must be duly filled in by the Bidder. Bidders are cautioned not to attach any conditions or provisions to their bids. Any foreign conditions will render the bid invalid and may cause its rejection. BREC is an Equal Opportunity Employer. The Bidder is encouraged to utilize minority participation in this contract to the extent possible through the use of small, disadvantaged and women-owned businesses as suppliers or subcontractors. BREC reserves the right to reject any or all bids for just cause and to waive any informalities. |
