Warehouse Freezer Renovation

1. Nutrition Services desires to replace the current freezer refrigeration equipment located at the North freezer of the District’s warehouse. The existing freezer refrigeration equipment is located on the roof of the warehouse, however, Nutrition Services requires that the new freezer refrigeration equipment be installed within a locked, fenced in area, on a ground-level concrete pad on the East side of the warehouse. Nutrition Services also requires that the old freezer refrigeration equipment be removed and disposed of. 2. The North freezer is 120,000 cubic feet and contains a wall in the midpoint of the freezer which may hinder airflow. 3. The District will be replacing the roof of the District’s warehouse. The contractor should note that the replacement of the roof will overlap with the warehouse freezer renovation project.
