Description | The City of Great Bend is requesting qualifications from consulting teams to assist in developing a City-wide stormwater sewer assessment and GIS map. The existing system includes approximately 200,000 linear feet of 12"- 48" diameter storm sewer, including RCB with all manholes accessible. This is the first of a multi-phase stormwater sewer master planning effort. a. Review of existing CAD map of record information b. Meet with City staff to review expectations of data collection and management c. Perform field investigation to confirm the following data utilizing the City's GPS equipment to build their ArcMap GIS system i. Structures 1. GPS location at center of structures 2. Structure Type (Manhole, Area Inlet, Curb Inlet, Headwall Inlet/Outlet, Dam, Other) 3. Material (Concrete, CMP, Brick, Clay, HDPE, Other) 4. Invert Depth (ft) a. GPS Point at Center of Structure - Tape down measure to structure invert. 5. Structure Inner Width (ft) 6. Structure Inner Depth (ft) 7. Headwall Type 8. Grate Type 9. Grate Length (ft) 10. Grate Width (ft) 11. Condition a. Creating a rating system with City to include Rim, Lid, General Conditions. (Rating 1-Great, 2-Good, 3-Poor Condition) b. Dry Weather Flow Check c. Sedimentation Check 12. Pictures a. In Structure b. Of Structure/Inlet ii. Pipes, Culverts, Ditches 1. Structure Type (Open Channel, Culvert, Stormwater Pipe, Other) 2. Conduct televising of a minimum of 2,000 lineal feet of pipe as coordinated with the City based on a poor condition rating. e. Proposers should also include a sealed fee per lineal foot for additional televising up to 20,000 lineal feet. f. It is assumed that only light cleaning would be required at the time of televising, coordination with the City representatives is expected. g. Conduct debriefing of field findings and review of final GIS. h. Deliverables include GIS database with hyperlinked photos and associated attributes and notes. 9.
