Downtown Streeteries

Fabricate platforms with integrated seating and/or walls and install these platforms in various curbside locations in the Downtown area, Hillsborough Street area, and other neighborhood business districts. These platforms, known as “streeteries,” will be utilized by adjacent businesses to expand areas for outdoor dining, drinking, and other business activities. Several Downtown businesses (319 W. Davie Street, 10 E. Hargett Street, 16 E. Hargett Street, and others) are currently using streeteries for additional seating, and several additional businesses are interested in developing this amenity for their guests but cannot afford the investment.
