Parma Heights Ice Rink Demolition Project

The work to be performed under this contract consists of furnishing all labor, equipment, tools and materials for environmental abatement and building demolition of the former Parma Heights Ice Rink located at 6182 Pearl Road in the City of Parma Heights. Each bid must be made upon the Proposal Form provided in the set of Specifications and must be accompanied by a Certified Check, Cashier's Check or Letter of Credit drawn on a solvent bank in Cuyahoga County in an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the amount bid or a Bid Bond in the amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the amount bid as a guarantee that if said bid is accepted, a Contract will be entered into and Surety Bond satisfactory to said City in an amount equal to 100% of the total bid will be furnished. Checks shall be made payable to the City of Parma Heights, Ohio. Bids will be opened and read at the time and place stated above. Those who have submitted Proposals or their representatives are invited to attend. The regulations of the State of Ohio relative to the procurement of labor, Prevailing Wage Rates and Labor Standards shall apply. As well as provisions of ORC Sections 4115.03 to 4115.16, inclusive, as applicable, with respect to the payment of all mechanics and laborers employed in the construction. The right is reserved to accept any bidder to reject any or all bids and to waive formalities should it be deemed to be for the best interest of the City of Parma Heights to do so. Completion Date: 28 Calendar Days
