Description | The owner has determined a prequalified list of design build companies. The project is expected to start construction in January 2023. The previous solicitation has been included below for reference: Hellas Construction Background and Project Site The City of Cheyenne desires to place an 8 court, or 2-4 court, post-tensioned concrete pickleball court(s) within the southern portion of Lions Park in the approximate location and with surfacing and amenities as shown in the exhibits attached to the RFP. The project will include survey and geotechnical investigation as needed, a complete set of engineered construction documents stamped by a professional engineer licensed in the State of Wyoming, and complete construction of the facility including all amenities. The project shall meet all necessary ADA requirements. Funds for the project come from Community Facility Fees (Park Enhancement Fees). 100% construction plans shall be reviewed and approved by city staff. The City shall pay for all review and permit fees. General Requirements See pickleball court exhibit, photographs of desired (similar) facilities, attached Deadline for questions/clarifications: September 27, 2022 - 5:00 p.m. Response to questions/clarifications: October 6, 2022 - 5:00 p.m. City Council Referral: November 7, 2022 Finance Committee: November 14, 2022 City Council Final Vote: November 21, 2022 Agreement Execution: November 22-28, 2022 Installation completion window: December 1, 2022 (Estimated) - May 19, 2023 Written inquiries shall be directed, via e-mail, to: TJ Barttelbort, Purchasing Manager E-mail: tbarttelbort@cheyennecity.org Any or all changes, additions, or clarifications in connection with this RFP shall be issued by the CITY in the form of written addenda. Oral comments, responses and/or representations shall not be binding upon the CITY. Questions are due no later than 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 27, 2022. Questions and answers will be sent to all contacted bidders on by 5:00 p.m. Questions shall be directed to the project contact listed above (see section I: Notice to Respondents). A formal contract will be executed between the Contractor and the City utilizing the City Standard Services Contract (included for reference). By submitting a proposal, the Contractor agrees to sign and be bound by the terms of the attached contract and all requirements stated in this RFP. Installers must be licensed and insured and meet the City insurance requirements The City reserves the right to reject any and all proposals and does not bind itself to accept any proposal for this work or any part thereof. The City may waive any technical or formal defect in any proposal and shall have the right to ask for new proposals for the whole or parts of this work should the City desire to do so or shall have the right to negotiate with any or other qualified Contractor. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document. |
