If the proposer is using a bid bond, please submit it in File 1 of your response (pg. 10). Upon award, the selected vendor will need to furnish the original bid bond to the Public Works Department. The City of Pomona (the "City") is soliciting bids from firms for Energy Efficiency Upgrades - Pomona Public Library and Palomares Park Community Center Project No. 428-71077 (Palomares Park). The work to be done consists of furnishing all materials, equipment, tools, labor and incidentals as required in the specifications and contract documents located in Documents and Attachments tab. The Palomares Park contains a Community Resources Center, La Casitas Teen Center, skatepark, various recreational sports fields, basketball courts, and a small parking lot adjacent to the Community Resources Center. The Community Resources Center and Teen Center are roughly 1,700 and 500 square feet, respectively. The recreational sports fields on the premises include: (2) Baseball or Softball Fields, (2) basketball courts, (1) center field, and (2) lawn bowling fields. The City of Pomona is planning various lighting energy efficiency project at the Community Resources Center, and La Casitas Teen Center buildings. The following is the general scope of the projects: - Retrofit interior linear fluorescent troffers with equivalent LED troffers - Replace CFL lamps with LED equivalents - Replace exterior CFL and HID fixtures with equivalent LED fixtures and lamps
