Description

This is a one-year bid for the period October 1, 2022 to September 30, 2023 with the right of the Village to renew for one (1) additional year. Applicants must have and specify experience in street lighting maintenance and be based locally in order to respond promptly to service needs. Each bid made by a bidder must contain hourly rates and a percentage of mark-up over cost for materials. Each bidder must comply with the prevailing hourly wage rules for public electrical maintenance work published by the New York State Department of Labor. Each bidder must submit a "non-collusive" bidding certification as required by Section 103(d) of the General Municipal Law and evidence of its workmen's compensation and public liability insurance. The Board Trustees of the Village of Quogue reserves the right to waive any informality or to reject any or all bids submitted or to accept any bid which, in the opinion of the Board, will be most advantageous to the Village of Quogue. All bids are to be submitted to the Village Clerk's Office in a sealed envelope bearing the designation of "BID FOR 2022- 2023 STREET LIGHTING MAINTENANCE SERVICES".
