Description | The Department of Technology, Management and Budget (DTMB) and in partnering with the Department of Corrections (DOC) is seeking professional services for Phase 100 through Phase 700 for the following work scope. To summarize, in addition to environmental hazardous testing, the project is to replace the following: interior doors, frames, walls, provide venting but not A / C, ceilings, and flooring at selected locations within three (3) buildings. A. Administration Building 100 - Doors and Frames B. Housing Building 200 - Washer / Dryer - New Location C. Housing Building 500 Details: 1. Replace Doors and Frames a. Building 100 - Five (5) locations b. Building 500 - Eighteen (18) locations 2. Ventilation a. Building 500 i. At Bullpens, remove solid glass wall and replace wall with wall that includes vents to increase air flow. There is no need for A / C, just increase airflow. ii. Count - Six (6) walls which are marked red in sketch 3. Ceiling Tiles a. Building 500 i. Remove existing tiles glued to ceiling and replace with clean, washable surface ii. Count - Ten (10) locations which are marked in yellow in drawings 4. Washer / Dryer a. Building 500 i. Relocate service from Building 500 to Building 200. Receive new washer / dryer currently stored at Woodland Correctional Facility and relocate from Building 500 to Building 200. The existing room at Building 500 is to be renovated into office space. 5. Floors a. Building 500 i. Original floors were epoxy painted over almost ten (10) times. Need to remove paint and cover with new epoxy. It is for majority of side cells, hallways, in-front and bullpens. Large area in-front currently VCT is in good condition. This is what is known as the "base" 6. Additional Notes a. If there is a discrepancy in count, the number of items shown on the colored sketch takes precedent b. Professional will need to test ceiling tiles, glues, piping at existing and new washer / dryer locations at Buildings 200 and 500.
