Portsmouth Readiness Center Addition

The project is generally described as a two-story addition for offices, classrooms and storage of 1,200 square feet per floor and construction of a mezzanine within the existing drill hall. The existing building, the Portsmouth Readiness Center, is a single-story, approximately 24,500 square-foot building in Portsmouth Virginia. Exterior walls of the addition will consist of load-bearing CMU-brick cavity walls and aluminum windows. Floor structure will be steel joists with steel-concrete floor deck, and roof structure is steel joist-deck with a fully-adhered TPO membrane roof.
