The City's system will not accept electronic bids after the due date and time Total Base Bid ESTIMATE BETWEEN: $10,000,001.00 and $50,000,000.00 Bid Bond: Bids requiring a bid deposit must be accompanied by a Bid Bond, provided by a surety company authorized to do business in the United States, and made payable to the City of Chicago. A scanned copy of the bid bond must be attached to the online bid submission, with the original bond to be received by DPS within 3 business days of the bid opening. This is required of all bidders, not just the apparent low bidder.
