Description

Historic painting, sanding and corrosion control activities for aircraft has led to the accumulation of heavy metals (Cadmium, Chromium and Lead) within settled dust and overspray throughout the subject structure. This area has been cleaned, however there is remaining dust and particulates within the previous paint filtration ventilation system. The purpose of this project is to carefully remove and dispose of the previously used ventilation system that was a part of the paint spraying operation, while being cautious to capture any contamination that may be released in the process. Up to two wipe downs and decontaminations may be required as part of the statement of work. The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, transportation, and other items and services necessary to complete the work as described in this Statement of Work (SOW). Work location is Building 7 at the 109th Airlift Wing (109 AW), 1 Air National Guard Road, Scotia New York 12302.
